The 29th China Bakery Exhibition (CBE) concluded successfully in Guangzhou from May 11 to 13, 2026, delivering robust growth in visitor numbers, international participation and business results, and cementing its status as South China’s flagship bakery industry event. The 2026 edition brought higher trade value for all participants, driven by surging cross border buyer attendance and targeted supply-demand matching services.

CBE Guangzhou drew over 150,000 professional visitors worldwide over three days, with international attendance surging 33% year on year across 108 countries and regions. South China buyers accounted for 68.29% of total attendance, covering bakery chains,distributors, retail, HORECA, franchise brands and e-commerce channels. This solidifies the show as a natural bakery trade hub between South China and ASEAN.

Exhibitors saw strong returns: 97.64% met or exceeded their goals, with overall event satisfaction hitting 99.18%. Across 100,000 ㎡ of exhibition space, 1,500+ domestic and Information Classification: Generalinternational brands launched nearly 5,000 new products spanning the full bakery value chain. Key benefits included new customer acquisition, higher brand visibility and expanded distribution networks.

Over 20 concurrent events ran alongside the show, including industry forums, skill competitions and dedicated matchmaking programmes. The inaugural overseas business matching session was a standout, bringing together senior procurement executives and delegations from Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and more for closed-door one-on-one talks, greatly lifting negotiation efficiency and cross-border deal conversion.

Powered by an omnichannel promotion matrix, the exhibition generated over 100 million total impressions for full-cycle brand exposure. Building on this momentum, CBE 2027 will return to Guangzhou from May 10–12 with expanded scale and upgraded international services.
